Composed of Dragon Radio, and Dragon TV, Dragon Media aims to bring USW students the best Television and Radio shows! We also provide written content in the form of reviews, student blogs, and articles covering national, local, and university-based news. We’ll also be working with our contacts all year long to set up all kinds of events, from live music events to club nights so you’ll never be stuck for something to do with Dragon Media.
Originally formed by the merger of Tequila Radio (University of Glamorgan) and Radio Noize (University of Wales, Newport) on 18th July 2014, Dragon Radio has grown to become an award nominated radio station. Supporting Playing a great mix of music both new and old from some of the world’s biggest artists as well as some up-and-coming ones.

In it's first year of operation, Dragon TV covers a range of genres and we hope to expand our arsenal through the year to become the face of the USW student body. We also aim to be nominated for some NasTA awards at the end of the year. To do this, DTV requires passionate content creators. If you’d like to join our growing station, get in touch.

Working in a professional enviroment and is a valuable experience, especially to those seeking employment in media and communications in the future.
